beauty buys!!!

Okay so some people who know me may think I over spend on make up that I hardly use... Though this is very true.. I still have to share with you all the wonderfulness that I purchased... keep in mind that I am trying to re edit my life to match my age accordingly ( basically my skin has been bad so i need to re invent my skin regimen) so here goes.

To start off ... the way your skin looks and feels revert back to your skin care regimen not to mention products. I would describe myself as a late bloomer so maybe two years back my perfect baby smooth skin turned into a teenage pepperoni face... after trying many products and many visits to multiple dermatologists, not only did I find the Dr. I was happy with I also found a skin care regimen that was great for me. The only things that I needed to use was wash my face with a soap less face wash that i could purchase over the counter and afterwards put an SPF moisturizer. Everything was all fine and dandy in clearfaceville until.... yes ladies.. ageing... that darn Dr. never told me how to keep my youthful looking skin. Another trip back and all he mentioned was moisturizer with SPF. He claims that it should do the trick. Well guess what it didn't and here i am 6 months later with my extremely dull looking skin. So keeping in mind that my skin only obey soap less face wash i ventured out to the wonderful land of Sephora for help. Hey why not??? they have so much products there, I figured they will give me their honest opinion. The name says it all.. Make Up Optional!! and for $40 bucks why not?

Next step for me is foundation. Way back in the days when i was just a little girl, i was told that I should never wear make up on a daily basis because it would take away the "WoW" factor when i dress up. Yes people now you know why i do not wear make up, however since than has been a long time and not only have times changed ,skin has changed as well=) so It's crunch time. What I am looking for is a powder ( preference thing.. i do not think i have time to do the whole liquid getup in the morning) but not just any powder a mineral powder. I like to try to enhance my look not cover it up. To me some people look great with all that full blown make up, I know I'll look like a full blown Geisha so i am not even going to bother. Oh i forgot to mention it's not Bare Minerals either!! back when my skin had it's "flare up" it was believed that the Bare Essentials brushes may have had something to do with it but everything is innocent until proven guilty... =)anyways.. what I've found is way better, say hello to my new compact.Jane Irdeal is the name and mineral foundation is her game.. this sucker here not only covers to enhance, but it could be used as a full coverage if you continue to build on it OR be used on top of your liquid foundation as a press powder.. pretty cool huh? Though this was an expensive purchase.. you'll be happy to know that the difference i paid was only $13 bucks. I will not tell you the rest until i know it's perfect!!! however so far so good =)

Lastly what i use to pull it all together..

Do not call me crazy for this but I Absolutely love this!!! I chose a powder foundation but have sorta dry skin (especially in the winter time) but pretty normal skin in the summer time. Why do you need to know this? Well my friends ,.powder is not good for dry skin people... of course you already know that, i on the other hand have always been in denial becuase I love the ease of a powder foundation though i do not have the face for it. Not to mention a lot of make up looks better when you set it all in so this is where this comes into play.Evian Facial Mist spray is the new love of my life... Laugh all you want and call it names like " expensive mineral water" but this sucker does the trick. After my new daily face regimen and my powder application this spray sets everything in without making your make up run or smear either. the best part ????.. you see the difference right away and the mist is very refreshing. I drove around town for this and even got one in travel size so it's definitely something special in my eyes.. i paid $7 bucks for it at Bed Bath and Beyond because it was sold out everywhere else.

I am so excited for all my new things and I've actually gotten to use all of them.. so far I'm loving it but I'll keep y'all posted on weather it's good for a long time run =) until next time.. byeee!!!
